The Big Kahunah!

For the Kohen’s lips should keep knowledge, and THEY SHOULD SEEK THE TORAH at his mouth; for he is the Malakh  יהוה Tzeva’ot. Mal 2:7

” יהוה  has sworn, and will not relent: ‘You are a kohen for ever in the order of Malki Tzedek’.” Psalm 110:4

“For he testified of Him [Yeshua], ‘You are a kohen forever in the order of Malki Tzedek’.” Heb 7:17

“But Messiah has become the Kohen Gadol of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect Mishkan, not made with hands…” Heb 9:11

Reading the Haftarah from “Malakhi”, the prophet whose name means, “My Messenger”, I see again this reference to Messiah, the Malakh יהוה , the Messenger of יהוה , who manifested over and over to Yisra’el, and this is a foreshadowing of Messiah Yeshua, clearly.

He is our High Priest, and the Torah should be sought through Him, the only one who taught its depth, the only one who kept it pure, the only one who obeyed it perfectly, because there was no sin in Him.

When believers begin to understand more fully that the “יהוה” of the “Old Testament” is always a manifestation of the Yeshua of the “New Testament”, that the two are not “different”, changing entities, then we will all begin to be conformed into THE image that G-D is creating in us more quickly, and not an image of our own liking, conjecture, or mistaken understanding.

It is not about being “Jewish” in appearance, although sometimes obeying His Truth does make it seem that way. It is about being internally changed to take on His Nature:

” יהוה  , יהוה , El Rakhum V’Khanun, eirekh apayim v’rav khesed v’emet ”

” יהוה  , יהוה , El [G-d], merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in compassion and truth; guardian of compassion unto the thousandth generation; forgiving iniquity and transgression, and sin, and pardoning;” [Ex 34:6-7]

The more I read His Torah, the more I ‘see’ His goodness, his GRACE, and how much He LOVES His people, those who fear Him and think on His Name, and trust that doing His Word is a blessing, and NOT a curse. It boggles my mind that the enemy has convinced so many believers that this beautiful book, the Torah of Moshe, is a curse. It is beyond my comprehension how persistent people are in that twisted thinking.

The Torah is not a curse, and the same biblical letters people quote to make that assertion warn us NOT to think that!

“For it is not the hearers of the Torah who are righteous before Elohim, but it is the doers of the Torah who shall be justified”. [Rom 2:13]

“What, then? Do we nullify the Torah through Emunah [faith] ? What profanity! On the contrary, we uphold the Torah!”. [Rom 3:31]

“What shall we say then? Is the Torah sin? What profanity! I would not have known the meaning of sin except by means of the Torah!” [Rom 7:7]

“Therefore the Torah is Kadosh, and the mitzvah [commandment] is Kadosh, and just, and good.” Rom 7:12

“For we know that the Torah is [of the] Ru’akh;”. [Rom 7:14]

“For I delight in the Torah of Elohim after the inward man.” [Rom 7:22]

“Now therefore with my mind I am a servant of the Torah of Elohim! But with my flesh I am a servant of the law of sin” [Rom 7:25]

[Remember, is the Torah sin? WHAT PROFANITY! 7:7 above]

“The carnal mind is enmity against Elohim [G-d], because it is not surrendered to the Torah of Elohim [G-d], indeed, it cannot be!” [Rom 8:7]

But a mind led of the Ruakh [Spirit] CAN BE surrendered to the Torah of Elohim, and will be, because the Torah IS RUAKH [Spirit]!

The Torah is also not a book of “rules and regulations”, but a letter of loving instructions on how to live a pure life. To fully understand it, we have to seek it from Messiah Yeshua, the Malakh יהוה  , our true High Priest, the manifestation of G-d the Creator, who stood before Avraham in the plains, and at Mamre, who wrestled with Ya’akov [Jacob], who stood in the burning bush before Moshe, who went before Yisra’el at the Red Sea, who appeared to Mano’akh, [Judges 13] and who manifested to Shmu’el as THE WORD [1 Sam 3]. All of these are manifestations of Yeshua, the Son of Elohim [G-d], who came out of the heart of His Father on occasion, but has manifested as the Nature of Elohim IN FLESH, forever.

HE ALONE is our High Priest, and we SHOULD seek the Torah [instructions] at HIS MOUTH.

I challenge anyone to read the words of Yeshua and prove that He rejected the Torah, the book of instruction that HE gave to Moshe in the first place. It cannot be done. “Messiah Yeshua is the same YESTERDAY [on Mount Sinai], Today, and FOREVER”. Heb 13:8

    Amein and Amein!
    Hallelujah!

Psalms 17:15 (VW) As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with the image of You.

  2. Judges 6:21-24 (JPOT) Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there went up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.
And Gideon saw that he was the angel of the LORD; and Gideon said: ‘Alas, O Lord GOD! forasmuch as I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face.’
And the LORD said unto him: ‘Peace be unto thee; fear not; thou shalt not die.’
Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it ‘Adonai-shalom’; unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

I think that this is one of the most fascinating verses in Scripture. Gideon watches Yeshua go up with the offering into Heaven, and continues a conversation with Abba.
    Astounding!
