The Ruakh HaElohim [Spirit of G-d] is NOT a separate but equal ‘person.’
ONE proof [of many]:
“V’kha’asher tavo Ruakh Ha’Emet, HEE tadrikh et’khem b’khal emet, ki LO t’daber mimakhashavTAH sheLAH, elah et kal asher tishmAH t’daber, v’et ha’atidot todia lakhem”.
“But when HaRuakh HaEmet [Spirit of Truth, True Spirit] is come, IT will guide you into all the truth; for IT will NOT speak from ITSELF, but what it hears, it will speak; and it will make known to you things which are to come in the future.” Yokhanan [John] 16:13
What is emphasized in both paragraphs above is ‘it,’ because in Hebrew, this word shows that the Ruakh it is modifying is FEMININE. In Hebrew, suffixes that have the ‘ah’ vowel are indication that the noun in question is FEMININE.
An EXACT literal translation would be “But when the true spirit is come, SHE will guide you into all truth; for SHE will not speak from herself, but what she hears, she will speak; and she will make known to you things which are to come in the future.”
Now, we know that Elohim is not gender confused…..this article, ‘it,’ is NOT about ‘gender’ as much as about ‘nature.’ The Ruakh nurtures us, and does evince certain qualities that are more prevalent in the feminine gender. But, that the Ruakh is NOT it’s own ‘person,’ and therefore not a ‘she,’ is evident in this verse: “It will NOT speak from itself!”
If the Ruakh of Elohim is a separate person, then it would speak its own ‘thoughts.’ That is what certain teachers teach. Which brings me to our portion for this week:
“But there were false prophets also among the people, EVEN AS THERE WILL BE FALSE TEACHERS among YOU! who shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying יהוה who has redeemed them, and thus bringing upon themselves swift destruction. Many will follow their pernicious ways, by reason of whom evil will be spoken of the Way of Truth. And through COVETOUSNESS they will exploit YOU with feigned [made up] words, whose judgment from the very beginning has not ceased and their damnation is always active.”
The doctrine in question DOES hinge itself on feigned words, made up words: homoousious for ‘sharing the same body/ consubstantial. These words are necessary to explain a fallacy. This doctrine does deny יהוה, as it teaches that there are ‘three’ gods stuffed into one ‘body.’ NO. “Hear, O Yisra’el, יהוה Eloheinu [ יהוה is our G-d] יהוה EKHAD [יהוה in ONE].” There is ONE G-d, who sits on His throne, and who manifests His Nature to us in Messiah the Son, Yeshua, through His Ruakh [Breath/Wind/Power].
To deny the commandment of יהוה is also to deny יהוה.
“Come OUT of her, MY people.”
